Peace

I just paid my attorney fee for my divorce - $4900. Right now I think its the best "purchase" i've ever made. The divorce is still in the works, but he's gone and I'm not afraid anymore. I suppose I am in much worse shape financially, but I have a job, and now, slowly I'm learning to have a life.

The universe is bigger than you think. There is room for freedom and happiness and just being with yourself and two old fat dogs that love you.

And while I am still going to take a huge financial hit, I'm also in the habit of thrift, so my life is still very very good.

    ...when my divorce became final, I felt like running out on the street screaming FREEDOM!!!!...of course, 1 year before that, when we first talked about it, the feeling was different!...

    You need to take care of yourself first before your finances. Moeny is always secondary.

    Good luck and it sounds you are getting yourself in the right frame of mind.

    You do sound at peace, and ready to enjoy it. Give those big ol' dogs a hug for me ... I've not doubt they've been a great source of comfort.
